Travel Agency Project

Assignment:
Your group (no more than 4) is going to create a Travel Agency. Your agency will offer 4 different travel packages.

Details:
These packages can include trips to Canada, Latin America, South America, Europe, and Australia.

A “package” must include the following info:
• Travel arrangements (airplane, boat, etc.)
• Hotel arrangements
• Arrival and Departure times
• Site seeing tours (what will you do while you are there?)
• Eating accommodations
• Money (what type do they use? Exchange rate?)

Presentation:
You can present your information in a variety of ways. Choose one…

You have two things to get done today.

1st: Log in to Georgia OAS (in the Novell box). The login is your 10 digit number and the password is initpass. Take the assigned Modern Europe test. The test will display the correct answer to whatever you get wrong. Read the info and retake the test until you make a 90 or above.

2nd: Complete your Black History Month project.

You must write a paragraph or two explaining who the Tuskegee Airmen and the Buffalo Soldiers were and why they are important. You may include pictures, but you do not have to. Use Microsoft Word. Save the file to your box (17YourName). When you are finished save it to my Teacher Dropbox(bhale). If you do not finish today you can complete it next Thursday.

We are going to discuss the Holocaust next week. The standard for this topic is SS6H7: The student will explain conflict and change in Europe in the 21st century. After reading and exploring the site you should write a short explanation at the bottom of your paper (you can use the same paper you used for step 1) that explains what you think the Holocaust was. You should write at least two paragraphs, but no more than four paragraphs. Remember, a paragraph should have at least four good sentences.
